DIRECTOR OF DESIGN (+ PRINCIPAL DESIGNER )
Nyansa is an IT network monitoring tool that gives you full visibility into your networks performance, tracking everything from activity and anomalies to network usage and hardware performance. I was brought on as the first dedicated designer to own the product as a whole. That meant everything from UX architecture to visual design.
RESULTS:
In my tenure at Nyansa, I reconstructed Voyance from a single application to a platform, surfaced hidden data, opened doors to deep analysis, and aided in how customers would use our tools to model their networks within our software. Upon my departure, I had:
Hired an additional designer to mentor
Worked with my designer and our FE team to build a
design system in light and dark modeLead the design of network analysis features with a streamlined workflow for better past and present data analysis
Lead the design, and helped implement, global site monitoring and AP floor mapping feature
Lead the design for initial version of the (then) stealth
application for IoT device monitoring
